Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

The EASIEST chicken noodle soup recipe and so much better for you than the canned stuff. No icky preservatives here!

Make a big batch and freeze some to have on hand this cold season.

You need:

  • 1-1.5 lb chicken breast or thighs

  • ¼ tsp poultry seasoning

  • ¼ tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp dried rosemary

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 2 cups chopped celery

  • 2 cups chopped carrots

  • ½ onion, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 4-6 cups bone broth

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt to taste

  • 8 oz pasta of choice



Step by step:

  1. Add all of the ingredients except for the lemon juice, salt, and pasta to the crockpot.

  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

  3. About 15 minutes before serving, cook the pasta separately according to package instructions.

  4. Shred the chicken and add back to the crockpot. Add the pasta.

  5. Add the lemon juice and salt to taste.
